Chennai: Tamil General Entertainment channel, Vijay Television is all set and geared up for the grand finale of the popular singing reality show Super singer season 6, which is slated to be held on July 15th at Nehru Indoor stadium (SDAT) Chennai. The event will be live telecasted on Vijay television 3pm onwards.
Launched in 2006, the reality show hunts for the best singing talents and has been a huge platform for many striving talents to showcase their singing skills. The show has also provided many contestants an opportunity to be a playback singer in cinema.
The Season 6 of Super Singer has seen best bunch of talents with an ability to sing in a variety of genres. The jury of the show includes singer Unni Krishnan, singer Anuradha Sriram, singer Benny Dayal and singer Swetha Mohan guiding and encouraging the contestants.
After a yearlong rigorous musical battle, the jury and the guest judges have chosen the top 6 finalists who will be seen contesting for the much coveted title. The proud finalists of Super Singer 6 are Anirudh, Sreekanth, Malavika, Rakshitha, Shakthi and Senthil.
The finale will have two rounds in which the finalists will be contesting with each other along with which the judges will also be entertaining the audience with special performances. The event will also have special thunderous folk performance featuring 40 plus folk artists.
The winner be awarded the Super Singer Season 6 title and a chance to sing in music director A.R. Rehman’s composition.
Viewers can cast their votes for their favourite contestants online. The voting lines will be open from July 7th till the last competitive performance in the event.
Super Singer 6 finals will be live telecasted on Vijay TV from 3pm on July 15th.
