Mumbai: Star Plus is looking to build a strong fantasy fiction franchise like Naagin on Colors. In line with its plans the channel has partnered with Balaji Telefilms to launch a horror series ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’,in its weekend 7.00 PM time band.
Balaji Telefilms has been producing a series of horror shows in the recent times that has been welcoming among the viewers. Naagin 3 – the third part of the successful Naagin telecasted on Colors TV is has garnered extraordinary viewership in the opening week with 4.3 TVR and is running successfully as one of the top rated programs maintaining 3.8 TVR in its second week.
The horror series ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’ on Star plus will be launched on 23rd June 2018 and Promotions of the new series has been initiated by the channel.
‘Qayamat Ki Raat’fantasy series unfolds the story of a young couple who are tested when faced with the power of the tantrik’s curse. The Tantrik-turned-Rakshas, played by actor Nirbhay Wadhwa.
Karishma Tanna featured as Gauri and Vivek Dahiya as Rajvardhan will be playing the pivotal roles in the series, veteran actor Apara Mehta will be making a comeback on the channel. Other star cast includes Dipika Kakar, Abhinav Kohli, Papia Sengupta, Sumit Bharadwaj.
Star Plus is constantly striving to strengthen its weekend prime time by launching new series. Apart from ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’Star Plus is also gearing up to launch the second season of its singing reality show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani 2’.
Qayamat Ki Raat will be launched on 23rd June 2018 and will be aired every Saturday and Sunday at 7.00 PM on Star Plus and hotstar.
