Cochin: Mazhavil Manorama through Nayika Nayakan, a new mega reality show with celebrity judges Lal Jose, Kunjacko Boban and Samvrutha Sunil will unearth the next big stars of Malayalam cinema. The show will feature 16 young talents, 8 boys, and 8 girls, who aspire to be the next superstars of Mollywood.
The show will be helmed by ace director Lal Jose, who has given Malayalam cinema some of its biggest blockbusters. He is the mentor to many stars in the Malayalam film industry and has taken Malayalam Cinema to new horizons. Among the top directors in Kerala, he has already bagged four State Awards.
He’ll be accompanied by Kunchako Boban, an evergreen star who became an instant teenage heartthrob after his debut in 1997. With a career spanning over twenty years, the versatile actor has handled characters of different shades, winning hearts of Malayalee families.
Samvrutha Sunil, the yesteryear heroine is also making a comeback through this brand new show. With her striking good looks and acting skills, she was a favourite among Malayalam Film lovers. She had played the lead in many Lal Jose movies in the prime of her career.
The contestants will have to go through various rounds, both indoors and outdoors. With Many challenging tasks like pursuing real-life characters, enacting popular stories, to taking up risky stunts, the show has it all. The winners of the show will be playing the lead in Lal Jose’s upcoming feature film.
