New Delhi: Ahmedabad based consumer Electronics Company, Abaj Electronics Pvt. Ltd. has appointed Mr Shyam Acharya as the group’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Launched in 2012, Abaj Electronics is a debut consumer electronics brand having a wide variety of products including LEDs, Air Conditioners and Washing Machines.
In a career spanning nearly 22 years, Acharya has worked with Videocon and Akai Electronics Group . His last assignment was in the capacity of Associate Vice President of Videocon Industries Pvt. Ltd which represents a major brand dealing in consumer electronics, home appliances, DTH, Mobile Phones, and Telecommunications with operations in India, Mainland China, Poland, Italy and Mexico.
Acharya comes with a rich experience in various facets of business management such as Sales Administration, Accounting Management, Financial planning, Sales, supply chain and strategy.
During his stint at Videocon Industries, he was responsible for company’s entire gamut of Sales administration, financial planning, growth and target achievements and extensive dealer network and Supply chain management. He was taking care of 42 branches all across the country.
Speaking on the appointment of Mr Acharya; Mr Nirav Patel, CMD, Abaj Electronics Pvt. Ltd., said, “Over the last six years we have set up a strong foundation for Abaj’s presence in India.
