Mumbai: Matchbox Media, a media arm of ITW Playworx bagged the overseas media duties of Simran movie directed by Hansal Mehta. The mandate included TV media planning, buying and release in US,UK and Middle East.
Inspired by true events, Simran is an Indian comedy-drama film which features Kangana Ranaut in the lead role as an NRI woman who comes undone by her addiction to gambling. The film released worldwide on 15 September 2017. The movie is loosely based on the life of SandeepKaur, a non-resident Indian (NRI) in the United States who has been convicted of four bank robberies.
