OTT video service Viu has added a range of Asian movies to its lineup by collaborating with tvN Movies and Now Baogu Movies On Demand.
Working with tvN Movies, the pan-Asian platform is bringing a number of Korean movies to its subscribers, including Confidential Assignment, The Prison and Train to Busan. The pact with Now Baogu Movies On Demand covers titles mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places, with Soul Mate and Office among the titles. Now Baogu Movies On Demand is a joint initiative among Now TV, Edko Films in Hong Kong and Chinese-language movie giant Huayi Brothers. tvN Movies and Now Baogu Movies on Demand will be made available to Viu users in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand starting the end of August 2017.
