Mumbai: This World Music Day, Shemaroo Entertainment did the unthinkable by hosting a 24-Hour Non-Stop LIVE Musical Request Show on their FilmiGaane Facebook page. The show was flagged at the stroke of midnight on 21st June, 2017 and went on for 24 hours non-stop, without a break. This made sure people are not away from music even for a second on this important day of World Music Day.
Filmigaane maintained a LIVE viewership of an average of 300 – 350 people throughout, every during midnight. The show was categorized in 4 categories namely; Music Directors, Lyricists, Male Singers and Female Singers, each of the categories had 6 artists each with each artist having a collection of over 200 songs. The users had to vote for their favourite songs from the list given by the team and the users who engaged the most throughout the show got gratified.
