Havas has appointed Chris Slough as global business partner on GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). Slough was previously global managing partner of OgilvyOne. Slough will take on the growing GSK assignment focused on digital and content across its consumer healthcare divisions, with hubs in London, New York and Singapore.
Havas is GSK’s new digital and content partner with remit spanning new brands across oral health, pain relief and respiratory categories as well as skin health and nutrition.
Slough brings with him substantial experience in managing network business and a depth of expertise across digital, performance marketing and CRM. He has worked across multiple industry categories and CPG businesses in agency management and client leadership roles, at both regional and global levels. Over the past four years, he has been responsible for leading OgilvyOne’s flagship accounts including British Airways’ creative technology business, and Nestlé’s digital and consumer engagement business in over 30 markets.
Yannick Bolloré, chairman and CEO of Havas Group said, “I am very excited about our growing partnership with GSK and Slough as the new global lead. GSK has tasked us with helping to grow key areas of their business — an exciting and dynamic challenge for our team.”
“His extensive experience managing and building global blue-chip brands across all regions and markets makes him an ideal partner to lead the GSK team at Havas. He shares our same client-centric approach, collaborating with clients to accelerate business, and will be key in bringing our disciplines together for the benefit of GSK,” he added.
“Havas has defined a new and super exciting network proposition. The work now in place with GSK is world-class and with the Havas Village established in London’s Kings Cross, there is real momentum in the business. It’s a great time to be joining,” added Slough.
