DigitasLBi has expanded its senior team with several new hires, following a new business win from Hewlett Packard Enterprises (HP) earlier this year.
Reevi Rajan has been appointed as director of analytics for APAC and will report to Oliver Spalding, head of CRM for APAC. Rajan brings 13 years of experience in analytics and media strategy. Rajan started at Mindshare India on United Breweries and Unilever laundry brands. He then went on to lead the analytics team handling Unilever brands at Meritus Global before moving onto Madison Communications to consult on media, CRM and marketing analytics for a portfolio of brands like Tata Tea, ITC and Airtel & Microsoft. He will also be working extensively on HPE across the region.
Ben McAneny joins as business director for APAC and is responsible for the agency’s media clients including HP Enterprises. McAneny joins from the UK where he spent 10 years working in agencies such as Advertising Club and Greenlight digital, managing Global Performance Campaigns across multiple channels and verticals.
Vinay Devarapalli has been appointed as senior media planner. He will lead the operational side of HPE, along with EJ Segovia who came from Dentsu Singapore, where he worked as a digital strategic planner.
Additionally, Alvin Kirk (pictured second from left) joins the agency as senior media manager where he will be leading the media planning and buying on the HP Enterprises account. He will be tasked with accelerating programmatic adoption for DigitasLBi clients to help execute successful campaigns.
Before joining DigitasLBi, Kirk spent three years at Publicis Media DTI running programmatic campaigns for Publicis clients. He started his career at Starcom Media, where he spent six years working as an integrated planner before joining the trading desk at Audience on Demand. There he worked across a wide range of industries including consumer tech, automotive finance and travel.
McAneny, Kirk and Devarapalli will report to Charlie Newbery, head of media, APAC.
“We have a talented team in place. I am sure they will bring excellent results as they help drive the HP Enterprises vision forward in APAC,” Annette Male, APAC CEO, said.
“Increasingly our clients are looking for complex media solutions including programmatic. Having bolstered our team with these guys, I feel confident we can offer our clients a well rounded solution to solve their real business needs,” Charlie Newbery, head of media APAC, said.
