Ludhiana: The Live telecast of the Grand Finale of Mr Punjab 2016 – Stardom Redefined aired on PTC Punjabi on 10th December has gained a massive 3.9 times growth in viewership.
The five hours of grand finale event aired from 6:33 PM to 11:54 PM (on 10th Dec) from Govt Girls College, Ferozpur Road near Bharat Nagar Chowk in Ludhiana town has garnered 662 (Impressions ‘000) in week 50 against an average of 171 (Impressions ‘000) in the previous four weeks in 4+ TG from Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal and J&K Markets.
PTC Punjabi Mr. Punjab is one of the most popular reality shows in Punjab and the channel has completed two seasons so far. Gurlal Singh Sandhu emerged as the winner of PTC Punjabi Mr. Punjab 2016, Sukhraj Singh ended up as the 1st Runner-up, while Jaskaran Singh and Arshpreet Singh are the 2nd Runner-up contestants.
The second season of PTC Punjabi Mr. Punjab started on October 24th with top 10 contestants after various levels of auditions and it was aired on every Monday to Thursday at 7:00 PM
