“Not Fit” chronicles the humorous adventures of Neerav Kapoor (Nero), struggling actor extraordinaire and quintessential fool, as he tries to make his mark as an actor in the entertainment industry. Taking an amusing dig at the entertainment industry and its eccentric participants, “Not Fit”, uses humor to explore human themes such as delusion, social awkwardness, conceit, frustration, desperation and fleeting fame.
The series is written and directed by the multi-talented Sudev Nair, an FTII graduate and recipient of the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor, who also plays the lead role of a struggling actor, named ‘NERO’.
Speaking on television premier of ‘Not Fit’ on NDTV Prime, Anirudh Pandita, Co-Founder, Pocket Aces stated, “We are seeing a renaissance in the content space in India and I’m glad that one of the foremost television networks in the country has decided to embrace this positive change. ‘Not Fit’ was our first long form series with our storytelling brand ‘Dice Media’ and came on the heels of our massive success in the short video space via our sister brand FilterCopy. The series, which broke away from hackneyed comedy, was loved by perceptive audiences and has become an example of intelligent, subtle humor. We are glad that a different audience now gets to experience the show!”
