Mumbai: Viacom18 has announced its plans to launch its premium Hindi Movie Channel, ‘Rishtey Cineplex’ in the international markets. Kicking off with high-impact launches in Europe and North America (US and Canada), the channel is an extension of the well-established Rishtey brand, and will be targeted at global film enthusiasts.
To be launched in Europe on 29th September and in North America in October respectively, Rishtey Cineplex will appeal to the sensibilities of global film enthusiasts with its blockbuster content.
Rishtey Cineplex will showcase the best Viacom18’s wide library of films as well as newly acquired movies across genres including soulful dramas, heart-warming romance, adrenalin-packed action, rib-tickling comedy and much more. Along with films, the channel will showcase many interesting concepts including vignettes various Film Festivals, behind-the-scenes trivia and coverage of exclusive Red Carpet extravaganzas amongst others.

Rishtey Cineplex, distributed by IndiaCast, will boost Viacom18’s mass entertainment propositions for global audiences, providing them with unrestricted access to blockbuster movies. The channel will be available free-to-air in Europe on Sky, channel number 797 29th September onwards, soon on Freeview and in North America October on the Dish and Sling TV platforms,
