Mumbai: Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) India has roped in Ram Mirchandani as head of creative development. He will be responsible for mounting the local production film slate for the company and will report to Managing Director of SPE Vivek Krishnani.
Prior to joining SPE, Ram Mirchandani was the COO of Endemol India, where he was heading its motion pictures division. He comes with over two decades of industry experience in various capacities as a Creative Director and Film Producer.
He has also led the creative teams at EROS International where he has been responsible for films like- Rockstar, Anjaana Anjaani, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Desi Boyz and at UTV Motion Pictures where he worked on films like Rang De Basanti, Fashion, Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye!, Aamir and Welcome To Sajjanpur among others.
He was also the Founded and CEO of Rampage Motion Pictures where he co-produced the national award winning film Vicky Donor.
