Mumbai: The Board of Directors of Reliance Capital today approved the induction of Anmol Ambani, the 24-year-old eldest son of Reliance Group Chairman, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani, on the Board of Reliance Capital as an Additional Director.
The induction follows the recommendation by the Nomination and Compensation Committee of the Board of Reliance Capital, comprising largely of Independent Directors.

Anmol Ambani has been working in various financial services businesses within Reliance Capital since 2014.
He has been actively involved in internal business reviews across companies and has also been part of interactions with Nippon Life for increasing stake in Reliance Life Insurance and Reliance Capital Asset Management in the last two years.
During the last two years, Anmol Ambani has also been travelling the length and breadth of the country – visiting branches and meeting employees across businesses in different regions – to get exposure and detailed understanding of businesses at grass-root level.
“Anmol’s presence in any event evokes a lot of engagement and response. He likes to spend a lot of time interacting with local teams informally”, said Mr Ghosh.

Anmol Ambani, 24 years (born 12 December, 1991), is the eldest son of Tina and Anil Ambani and lives in Mumbai. Born and bought up in Mumbai, he studied in Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, till Xth (2007) and thereafter completed his schooling from Seven Oaks School, United Kingdom, in 2009.
After completing his schooling, Anmol did his summer internship with Reliance Mutual Fund (RMF) for two months. During this tenure, he worked with the research department of RMF Equity Team wherein he learnt the practical aspects of financial statements, company and sector analysis and portfolio creation.
Anmol completed his undergraduate studies – BSC in Management – from Warwick Business School, UK. He has keen interest in Economics and loves to read about macro-economics and policies.
He took time to travel the world and meet people around the globe before joining Reliance Capital in 2014. An avid traveller, food lover and football player, Anmol loves rock music.
