Chennai: The Leading Tamil News and Infotainment Channel Puthiya Thalaimurai is set to air the Puthiya Thaliamurai Tamilan Awards 2016 on 24th August from 4:00 PM onwards.
The 5th Annual Award ceremony held on 11th of August 2016 at 6.00 pm at Chennai Trade Centre. Puthiya Thalaimurai TV recognizes legends and eminent rising stars every year for their achievements and contribution to the country and to the society through its prestigious Tamil Awards. This year also the Channel has honoured a new set of legendary achievers and eminent rising stars in the field of Arts, Literature, Science, Literature, Sports and Industry in its Puthiyathaliamurai Tamilan Awards 2016,
Totally 12 awards were conferred on individuals who made a mark in different fields. The following are the list of winners of Puthiya Thalaimurai Tamilan Awards 2016:
