Mumbai : Star India’s Hindi GEC Star Plus brought in a fiction daily soap titled ‘Ishqbaaz’ which follows the story of three affluent ‘Oberoi’ brothers.
The Channel has made it with extraordinary budgets to ensure outstanding quality standards and branded it as the Blockbuster Show. The premiere episode that was launched on 27th June attracted 8.7 million TV viewers.
According to the data released by Zapr TV viewership data, the show aired on the 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM time slot, the premier episode experienced the highest TV viewership in the first ten minutes with 4.99 million viewers tuning in to watch Ishqbaaz.
Moreover, the data also found that the channel Star Plus experienced a 37% rise in its TV viewership compared to the average viewership of ‘Tamanna’ that was aired in the previous week for the same time slot.
In addition to this ‘Ishqbaaz’ also enjoyed the highest viewership across the Hindi entertainment genre within the 10:00 PM to 10:30 PM slot for the day.
Out of the whole of HSM Market, the analysis shows that Gujarat Market had the highest share of viewership with 13.9% of the show’s total viewership. Maharashtra followed closely with a 12.4% share. The Hindi heartland UP was holding the 3rd highest viewership share of 11. 3%
