Mumbai: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, Asia is bringing back The Amazing Race Asia for a fifth season.
AXN was home to the previous four seasons, with the most recent edition concluding in 2010, and will now air season five. The show will debut in its fifth run on AXN in late 2016. Ten teams chosen from across the Asia-Pacific region will compete in a dash around the world for a chance at the winning crown and $100,000 in cash.

The U.S. version continues to be one of our most popular series on AXN, so it was important to find a way to reignite our beloved Asian adaptation.”
