Mumbai : Renka Fashions, the online brand of Rosy Hosiery Mills, today announced their association with actress Surveen Chawla to promote their brand across the online market places like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Myntra and all other major e-commerce sites. Ludhiana based, Renka is an online fashion brand, which is a category leader in women’s fashion across online market places.
Surveen Chawla, the well-known film and TV actress, will be a part of the marketing campaign for the brand. Surveen is a perfect embodiment of style, elegance and poise – qualities that best resonate with the brand ethos of Renka as well.
Rahul Kalra, CEO Renka Fashions Said, “We believe Surveen represents the women of today who are confident and bold. Renka has similar qualities. We reckon this collaboration would go a long way and help us best connect with our customers. We were one of the first traditional manufacturers to go ‘ecommerce only’ and the strategy has paid off and the growth in our first year is testimony to the same.
Renka as a brand was launched in mid 2014 with an exclusive range of seamless women’s wear. Rahul Kalra says, “Most clothing has a seam running under the arms. It is two cut pieces stitched together. Our clothing has no seam, its one piece of knitted fabric which gives an unmatched fit”. Rahul appointed Browntape Technologies as Renka’s ecommerce partner and the company has built the ecommerce business from the first listed product to 10,000th order and beyond in a short period of just one and half years.
Gurpreet Singh, Co-founder Browntape Technologies said, “Renka’s success is a story of two diverse organizations coming together to create magic. We manage all the ecommerce operations and push really hard on promotions to grow sales. Rahul makes sure that the best quality products are available at unbeatable prices with the broadest range (20 colors per design). Having Surveen is a new milestone. We are confident of another 10X growth year with Renka”
Today, Renka is one of the largest online sellers for women’s western category across the market places. They hope to continue their online sales growth and will continue to launch new categories.
