Mumbai : As per the Hindi GEC ratings of Week 48 Star Plus, Colors and Life OK witnessed a decline, while Zee TV, SAB TV and Sony Entertainment Television (SET) saw an increase in top Hindi GECs. SAB TV and SET gained the maximum ratings during the week. This is the second consecutive declining week for Star Plus.
The market topper Star Plus ratings this week declined further to 625 million GVTs in week 48 from 631 million GVTs in week 47 (November 16 – 22, 2014). In the previous week, Star Plus declined from last week as its ratings fell to 631 million GVTs in week 47 from 658 million GVTs in week 46 (November 9 – 15, 2014).Despite the decline Star Plus still maintained a comfortable lead ahead of others.
With the larger support of Biggboss 8, Colors stood at the second place despite a larger dip in its ratings as it dropped to 467 million GVTs in week 48 from 482 million GVTs in week 47. In the previous week, it had, however, witnessed a marginal decline to 482 million GVTs in week 47 from 483 million GVTs in week 46.
Followed by Zee TV at No.3 with a marginal increase in ratings to 435 million GVTs this week from 433 million GVTs in week 47. The channels ratings saw an increase last week to 433 million GVTs in week 47 from 419 million GVTs in week 46.
Life OK, at fourth spot on the ratings chart, saw its ratings decline marginally to 324 million GVTs this week from 326 million GVTs last week.
SAB TV saw its ratings grow substantially to 299 million GVTs in week 48 from 276 million GVTs in week 47. This comes as a recovery for the channel that previously had seen a drop in its ratings a week earlier to 276 million GVTs from 296 million GVTs in week 46.
SET increased its ratings to 230 million GVTs in week 48 from 207 million GVTs in week 47. This large rise in the ratings comes on the back of last week’s recovery in ratings where it increased to 207 million GVTs from 190 million GVTs in week 46.
Zee Anmol saw a big rise in its ratings to 103 million GVTs in week 48 from 84 million GVTs in week 47. Star Utsav on the other hand saw a marginal decline in its ratings to 65 million GVTs this week from 69 million GVTs in week 47.
Big Magic’s ratings, too, saw a decline in its ratings this week as it dipped to 62 million GVTs from 69 million GVTs last week. It, however, comfortably stayed above Rishtey. Rishtey saw a large increase in its ratings as it increased to 56 million GVTs from 39 million GVTs in week 47.
Sony Pal saw an increase this week to 33 million GVTs from 30 million GVTs in week 47. Zindagi, too, saw a marginal increase in its ratings this week to 31 million GVTs from 30 million GVTs last week.
Sahara One saw its ratings decline to 9 million GVTs this week from 10 million GVTs last week.
Finally, new Hindi GEC Epic saw its ratings rise to 2.93 million GVTs in week 48 from 1.24 million GVTs in week 47.
