Singapore-based content distribution and production firm, Bomanbridge Media, has set up an office in Mumbai. The company has recently established offices in Korea and Mongolia.
Bomanbridge Media India will be headed by a television veteran, Arpit Agarwal. Arpit Agarwal has over 18 years of extensive television experience. He was earlier associated with Fremantle India, Balaji Telefilms, Sahara One, Starcut Asia Pacific and NDTV.
Speaking on their expansion Sonia Fleck – CEO Bomanbridge Media said “This entrance into South Asia and especially India, is the beginning of very exciting times for us at Bomanbridge. With assured improvements in TV measurement and decreasing carriage costs, we are witnessing not only a surge in demand for niche content but also the need for product differentiation through innovation amongst the major GEC players.
India has always been one of our stronger territories in the region and we look forward to enhancing our presence there to better serve our partners,” added Sonia Fleck.
Bommanbridge also signed a deal with Norwegian multimedia company Earthtree Media for representing its Kids catalogue across Asia.
