Rajat Uppal, National Marketing Head, 104.8 Ishq FM said “The pandemic has given the digital festival & IP space an exponential growth over the last 18 months. With on-ground events not possible due to the pandemic, most on-ground experiential festivals have explored digital formats. The last 5 years have seen the resurgence of poetry & storytelling format with a number of new-age artists making it big and building a commendable following on digital. At Ishq FM, we were dabbling with the thought of doing a festival around love poetry & storytelling and the idea came to curate our first digital festival IP for the brand. With ‘Dear Ishq’ we hope our audience loves the line-up of an artist who comes together to weave the magic of spoken words. ”
Speaking about the event Shardha Singh, National Programming Head of 104.8 Ishq FM said “We want to ‘Ishqify’ the universe with content around Love and Relationships. Ishq is a content-centric station and we are proud to say that we own the space of Love. Currently, we all are going through extreme emotions, dealing with losses, uncertainty and anxiety. Poetry or storytelling can’t cure the world but can definitely bring a breeze of relief in our lives. Words have the power to heal. I am glad that so many actors, Poets, lyricists, singers have collaborated with us to bring the power of spoken words.”
